2007 (Sophomore): Young was the Aggies field goal and extra point kicker in 2007. Young led the team in scoring with 67 points. He was also 12-of-18 on field goal attempts and 31-of-34 on extra point attempts. Young made 23 extra point attempts in a row at one point during the season. Against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/29) Young hit the game winning 37-yard field with seconds on the clock. He went 2-for-3 on field goal attempts in that game. Against Idaho (10/13) Young made a career-high six extra points. Versus Hawai’i he recorded a career long 41 yard field goal. Young ended the year with streaks of 25-of-26 extra points and 7-of-8 on field goal attempts.



2006 (Freshman - Hudson Valley CC): Young helped the Vikings to an 8-3 overall record and a third place finish in conference in 2006. He made a school record 48 yards field goal. He went 7-of-12 on field goals and 20-for-20 in extra points on the season. Young also had two on-side kicks that were recovered.

Wow you guys are hard on Sly. SJ you have been pretty hard on a lot of folks on this board for months now. I feel like you might punch me in the face the next time you see me . Anyway, I heard about the other thing with TV for Hoops season but I am not sure if it is public knowledge yet so I don't think I will say anything yet. I wouldn't want "Hancock" (Will Smith?) to get mad at me I also think that talking about this stuff on here is a GOOD THING.

About this board? No. About confidential information that isn't ready to be released to the public yet? Yes. Some things are ok to talk about before contracts are signed. Recruiting and things like that are ok. If, for some reason, the contract fell through for this stuff, then people will start to think our athletic department screwed something up or would make a big deal about it not happening. Instead of no attention, it then brings negative attention to the department. It's not hard to understand why they wouldn't want that. Yes, that's a worst-case scenario, but it's the reason why they don't like things like this released until the contracts are signed.

Not really. It went from posting the Big South tv deal on the blog to saying we'll have more than just that to hinting about stuff that hasn't been released yet to that. If you've been reading as much as you say you have you'd know that things take on a life of their own here.

yeah I know you work for them or did in the past and so you are more sensitive to it then most, but you have to admit it is always funny how threads turn from one thing and completely go another direction.
