With the league media days quickly approaching, it appear the Big South is going to try once again to put up the football interviews Friday afternoon at 1:30 (or shortly thereafter) on the Big South Edge for free.

Hopefully it will be better than the technical mess it was last year. Their inability to pull off a simple news conference kept me from ordering a season subscription from them. And based on what everyone has stated since, it was a good call. Perhaps they will make significant improvements since they stole away our Liberty Channel streams.

Agree Sly, I was going to order the yearly package but didn't because of problems receiving content on single event streams. Need to get their act together.

Sadly many of us feel the same way. I can't believe I am actually looking forward to hearing Kyle's voice. That alone describes the desperation for football.

When I went to register, it led me through the all the hoops, but there wasn't a package to select for this single event. Really, it shouldn't be that hard. Do I have to register, or will it happen when it happens?

It looks like they seem to have their together a bit more this year with a slide showing the logo and football helmets on the stream while we wait for the start of the newser at quarter til.

It is scheduled to begin at 1:45. There are a couple of free videos in the 'On Demand' tab including a decent video that looks does a preview of every league team. The voiceover is lame but the highlights are pretty good.

They have to manually take the graphic key off and then pot up the mics. Hopefully they think to do that some time before the newser is over.
