I got this from AGS, but I’m curious if this will affect us much. I will be at 6/7 home games and gas prices have zero affect on that, I’m going to VMI and CCU, but I would want to go to WCU and/or PC but probably won’t because of gas prices.

i won't make as many road trips, but i'm not sure that it is necessarily gas prices. that definitly plays a role but we would be splitting it so its not that big of a deal. our road games just seem a lot farther away this year

Gas prices + the length of the road trips are effecting me. I have no problem driving to a game. The problem we're all running into is finding a place to stay overnight because the only road game that can be done in a day is VMI. Everything else you really need to stay overnight.

The price of fuel is dramatically affecting airfares so my annual homecoming trip is in some jeopardy.

I had originally planned to go to four of the five games - all but Youngstown. I'm really leaning strongly against going to Western now because it's just such a far drive. I'm definitely going to Coastal and VMI and as long as I have the money will go to Presby.

I thought I was going to WCU, but I think it’s just too much. I would love to go down to Clinton, but same problem. I’ll still be making it to VMI and CCU though.

Im already going to be at CCU (marching band) as well as all the home games. I was hoping to go to maybe one other away game but I was gonna ride with somebody else going so its not gonna affect me all that much

yeah...weve gone the last two times LU has played down there so I dont see why we wouldnt go again (that and Dr Kerr has a real nice friendship with Dr Tully down at CCU so that makes it possible as well)

Yeah, it's funny, they won't travel to away games within two or three hours but hey, you give em a weekend at the beach and they're all over it.

Games I will be attending:

* North Greenville .. getting married on Aug. 23, then the honeymoon, and the bride-to-be is allowing me to cut the honeymoon a day-and-a-half short so we can make it by 3:00 pm and tailgate on opening weekend. I love it! TO ANY OF YOU MARRIED MEN, BEAT THAT!

* Coastal Carolina .. only a two-hour drive, easy choice for a night game in Conway.

And because of the gas prices, I will NOT be making it up for Glenville State or Stony Brook, two games I probably would make if gas price circumstances were different.

I consider that portion of our trip still a part of the honeymoon, actually...so I should have said that she is all for me adding LU's opening game to the honeymoon.

haha...well, then again i was smart enough to make sure my wedding/honeymoon took place long before football season began....

though...call me crazy...i would rather spend time on a cruise ship then see LU beat down on some D2 team anytime....
