I chose toyota. Just because I happen to have 2 of them. But they're really like the same thing. Honda just never made a decent truck for some reason.

Both are great manufacturers. But Toyota's quality record in recent years has dropped at a rapid rate. They've recalled more cars than Ford & GM combined the last time I checked. They just do a better job managing their communications. That said, I'd buy a Toyota in a heartbeat if I were looking even though Honda is probably my top choice.

I've read their quality dip is in direct correlation with their moving up to be the top manufacturer. And 7 years ago I'd feel silly saying this but Hyundai is right up there with these 2 in comparison to what they offer.

Hyundai typically tops most lists for reliability these days. It took them awhile to learn the market but they now are one of the best manufacturers around.

My wife has always been a Honda fan until recently. We (she) currently own an ’03 Accord and she swears she will never go with Honda again because of lots of bad run ins with the service at our local dealer. We’re in the market for a new car and are thinking about the Camry. Still undecided though. The main thing is we want something that will last a long time.

Got to go with Toyota because Honda makes an ugly truck. I much prefer my 2002 Indiana-made V8 4WD Tundra, though I have no idea what kind of gas mileage it gets, nor do I care.

I bought a 1997 Toyota Camry in 2002 with about 98K miles, well over 200K now and change the oil every 3k miles and rotate tires at the same time. One of the greatest cars I ever owned. It is a 4 cylinder and I get 35 mpg going down to Fl every year on the interstate. I would buy another one in a heart beat

More car enthusiasts buy Honda more people who dont know as much about cars although know they want something reliable get Toyota (the majority of the general public)

IMO Honda is a better option. I will more then likely only own an Acura from now on, I'm that sold on the company. As far as the options and technology you cannot find a car better for the money. The RL has just as many options as the 7 series but for half the price.

uhhh, doubtful. I think a lot of people who pretend to know a lot about cars buy hondas. How many "tricked out" civics do you see vs carollas? And by tricked out I mean white kid with his visor on upsidedown and backwards driving with a huge spoiler, loud obnoxious exhuast and dinner plate sized tachometer on his dashboard. There is no "enthusiast" advantage with Honda over Toyota. Especially if they want a truck.

So a kid who loves cars but can only afford a 15 year old car for his first car, and then he tries to fix it up with a new paint job, new stereo, new speakers, and things like that doesn't belong on earth? Thanks for telling me that. I'll go tell my little brother.

You're an idiot...it has nothing to do with affording anything...we're talking about new cars not 15 year old cars...stop trying to find drama...write a blog on facebook or something

I would venture to say that 90% of car enthusiasts won't even buy any Japanese car. They're not looking for reliability. They're looking for "fun". Even though you can get that with a jap car, most would go for something powerful and american, or extoic and european.

You just said kids who can't afford anything but 15 year old cars can't be car enthusiasts and don't deserve to live on earth. That's what you said. I'm not finding drama in it. I'm just questioning you being a complete assclown and calling you on it. And you proved it even more by the way you responded.

(I'm waiting on the PM too. They always come trying to explain these types of things)

Blog or something man....PM or face to face confrontations not on here...people are tired of calling you out on FF and you never saying it to peoples faces...all of your confrontations on here with Luke, TBGBG and others tried to talk to you about it to your face but you never will...so just stop man, 15,000 posts you'd think you'd grow up by now...post numbers dont mean seniority on here

I went by the FOC the other day to look for you...you weren't there :?:

A lot of them are going with VW Jettas now. A friend of mine used to work in a shop that customized cars and he said that's what they were seeing most of (other than Civics) because you could make them fast and they had room for the stuff on the inside too.

I've talked to all of them off the board so you're proving that yet again, you don't know what you're talking about. Why should I PM someone when I want to confront them on something stupid they said on the board? That makes no sense. I'll talk about any of this in person or PM or whatever, and anyone who knows me knows that.

You're being completely hypocritical (not surprised by the way) saying I should keep my stuff private when your last two posts have been shots as me.

As for not being at the FOC, it's because I'm not a full-time employee. School has to be in session and I have to be a full time student to work. I wasn't given a cushy full-time job before I graduated. I actually had to volunteer and work for mine, just to get paid minimum wage and hope something comes out of it down the line.

Not needed and not in the budget are two different things. You're trying to make yourself look more important and my job look less important by the way you word things. The fact of the matter is I'm still doing my internship there for camp, but don't have to be there all of the time. I go in, get all of my work done, and leave. There's no use being around any time other than that.

A Hypocrite is one who talks a lot of trash online or over a telephone, but wont back it up.

Or I Like Webster's Def. as well
1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

What am I supposed to do to back it up? I love how Tyler's calling you for this so you can randomly come on here five minutes after I call him out and post about a topic you would otherwise not read. I say what I think, say why I think that, yet I don't back things up? I love it.
