Celtics vs. Pistons. who do you have winning?

I've been sipping the Celtics kool-aid all season, but I'm going to go with the Pistons. Billups/Stuckey are going to present big matchup problems at the point for the Celtics at the point due to their size and strength. Every other position is fairly even, although Ray Allen is struggling so I'd probasbly give the 2guard edge to the Pistons right now.

I'm going to go with the Pistons simply because they've been there before.

Billups > Rondo (Not even close)
Hamilton > Allen (Rip knows how to score, especially in the playoffs)
Prince <Peirce> Perkins (The Celtics 5 spot is a rotating disaster)

Saunders > Rivers

Experience > Hype

Pistons in 5.

PG
Billups, Stuckey, Hunter > Rondo, House, Cassell
This one is closer than people think, Rondo is a very underrated player but it's still not a very even matchup

SG
Hamilton, Afflalo > R. Allen, T. Allen, House
If Ray Allen can find his shooting stroke again, this will be a fairly even matchup, but until then it's in the Pistons favor

SF
Prince, Hayes, Hermann < Pierce, Posey
Prince is good, but Pierce put on a show for the ages today and guarding Prince won't be nearly as difficult as guarding LeBron. Also, Posey is a good shooter and an excellent defender who can be placed on Wallace as well

PF
Wallace, Maxiell, Johnson < Garnett, Powe, Brown, Davis
Wallace will present some matchup difficulties for the Celtics due to his range and Maxiell is a great energly player off the bench, but Garnett is the best player in this matchup and Powe, Brown, and Davis are very solid players off the bench. Remember, Glen Davis had 20+ points in a matchup earlier this year.

C
McDyess, Ratliff = Perkins, Powe, Brown, Davis (the last three rotate between PF and C)
McDyess is the best player out of this group by far, but the depth at the position is vastly superior for the Celtics in my eyes and the Celtics bigs matchup better with the Pistons - other than Wallace - than they did with the Cavs.

I hope you guys are right. I got tickets to game 3 up here in Detroit! It should be a GREAT series! I'm really unsure to how well the Pistons will play. The past few years we have absolutely stunk it up in the Eastern Conference Finals! I hope we can win a game in Boston in the first 2!!

I think there's something wrong with Allen's ankles. He just had surgery on them and he just can't seem to jump as well when he's shooting.

I think the celtics will win game 3. Ray Allen is finally back to his usual form plus I think the celtics D will be more disciplined. The reemergence of ray Allen is going to be a big factor in the series though, if the celtics win the series they are going to need good production out of him like tonight

for no other reason, i think the celtics will be motivated to play good on the road for once in these playoffs because they'll have to win at least once on the road to win the series and if that can't motivate them to win on the road then I don't know what will.

still early in the game and a lot can change still, but the Celtics are looking impressive and all their role players like Rondo, Perkins, Cassell, Posey, and even PJ freakin' Brown are stepping it up big time thus far. I find it amazing that PJ Brown is still being a contributor on a championship caliber team these days, guy is almost as old as grandpa Dikembe!

This is one time I'm with 84. Actually, I find NBA PA announcers incredibly annoying as a group, but he is perhaps the worst.
