What the article doesn't say is that while he has been the OC for the football team the past two seasons, the hoops program is a traditional national powerhouse. They have a kid who made headlines a couple of years ago as a 6'8" 1st Baseman for Saudi Arabis in the LLWS. That kid has bigtime hoops potential.
