I'll teach you how to have a strong tap on the cities pulse...it takes time...but with some effort and the proper training you too can have it. There are about 3 - 5 different spots to go if you want to always encounter someone or something worth seeing. :D

SCAR wrote: Also This is Jason Eaker's recruit not Saucie as was said earlier on one of these 10 threads about Sanders. Jason recruited his brother at Texas Pan America and Liberty will be recruiting the youngest brother too who is supposed to be Big 12 good but wants to play with his brother..

Which is pretty darn good by the way.

Also, and for what it's worth, Sanders was supposedly the top recruiting focus for Rice this year and had he signed, suppossedly the top incoming guy. Rice is an academic school that is at the bottom of Conference USA. Sounds like we grabbed another soild well rounded player.

and lets not forget who else was headed to Rice but then changed his mind.

That's right, it's only logical that Sanders will be as good as Okafor. Only in a point guardian way.

Sanders comes in with a reputation as a tough, determined, playmaking point gaurd. He'll do fine.

SJ has a reputation for nasty farts after mexican food....so what....his HS rep means nothing to me. You act like you stalked this guys AAU team and know him like a son....when you probably just heard about him when we did.

There's a positive buzz with this guy. And those qualified to judge talent (our coaching staff) appear to be high on him.

You certainly have the right to be as negative or as skeptical as you want.

They're not gonna say negative stuff about their recruits, but they are not high on everyone. And they do know what the true expectations and roles are for each player.

Yeah I was wrong, oh well. I didn't think he was going to get one because I didn't see how the numbers could work out. I'm glad for him, he's worked really hard and deserves one.

And what's more amazing - is he still committed;)

I'm just kidding HMO - it was like a softball and it could have been anyone.

Let's hope the Houston Nigerian pipeline does in fact get routed toward Lynchburg in the next year.

Sly, I thought you would appreciate the alliteration in the title of the article about Sanders in this morning's Lynchburg fishwrap:
"Flames sign Houston hoops star"
Lang's boys still have some capitalization issues with the title, but I do like the alliteration (JDUB, :dontgetit that means the 'repetition of consonant sounds').

Which means all of the letters of the alphabet except for "a, e, i,o and u" sound a lot alike when you say them next to each other in a sentance.

Are we talking about non-specific hope or a specific possibility?
