Davidson is making a statement. Is Wisconsin one of those Top 100 RPI teams you were referring to, Realist?

The blue-collar like Badgers getting outworked and outhustled, simply remarkable performance by Davidson thus far and an embarrassing showing by the Badgers. I would say they can't beat Kansas, but heck I thought Wisconsin would win this one (although I knew Davidson stood a chance).

I'd be interested to hear what Curry's NBA draft stock is like after the tournament is done.

Davidson's defense and overall play has a lot to do with Wisconsin not playing their A game. It is not like this is a non conference game in Dec. This is the sweet 16. Not such thing as not bringing your A game. If you don't play well it is usually, no always because of the other team at this stage. I hated when New England fans would tell me that their offensive line picked the worst time not to play well this past Superbowl. The Giants D Line was the reason they didn't play well. I feel really bad for Seth right now...We are going to expect the second coming of Reggie Miller next season at Liberty. Maybe he will be maybe he won't. All I know is I would hate to play in that Shadow.

kansas, assuming they make it past villanova, better be 200% prepared to try and stop the rest of the wildcats because obviously if the #1 regular season ranked defensive team in the country in wisconsin cant do anything to slow him down then kansas is going to have their hands full.

Good point...Kansas is really, really good though and will be able to score with Davidson where Wisconsin has to play close or play on top because they win with their defense. Wisconsin under Bo Ryan has not been an explosive team offensively but they do defend. Villanova will be a tough out tonight for Kansas but I expect the JayHawks to prevent a battle of the Wildcats in Detroit on Sunday.

All of this will only be beneficial to Seth in the end. It will stretch his game and build his confidence. Remember, he's a Curry. He can handle this.

Kansas or Villanova won't get past Davidson if they can't stop Curry. He's so quick and so smooth. The only person who can stop Steph right now is Steph. That is to say that he's gonna have to have an off night in order for someone to take these guys out.

Davidson is so much more that their guards. Their interior game and just their overall execution is amazing. I have seen them play a lot this season as I love watching mid-major hoops and they have done it all season. The UNC Greensboro game in particular was fun to watch as UNCG was up 17 points but then Davidson got serious. They are the real deal. Much better than any Winthrop team that has been assembled IMO. The comparisons have been made but I would say the boys north of Charlotte are better than the ones just south. If Steph has an off game, I believe they can still win due to their offensive flow and decision making. Also I will give credit to the defense if they can bother him for 40 minutes.

I agree that this is a really good team. However, it's going to be difficult for them to advance into the final four without a big game from Curry.

Davidson got hot at the right time but also faced teams playing very dumb basketball. Brian Butch, their 7 footer, shot more threes than banged inside. Same story with Georgetown who never exploited their height and athleticism.

Scar, you're nuts if you think that team is better than quite a few Winthrop teams. They have no inside presence and are facing a very watered down tourney this year. Again, they've had a nice little hot run but this is the first time in how many years they've ever proved they can beat a top 100 team.

Wisconsin must have left their defense back in Wisconsin. And Davidson is going where no Winthrop bb teams have gone before. Enough said

I must have been in a coma for the last 4 or 5 years. Can't believe I missed those Elite 8 runs Winthrop made. Stupid me
