FYI ....The NCAA East Region Tournament held last Sunday is airing tonight on the Liberty Channel at 8PM, tomorrow at 8PM and Saturday at 2PM. It will also be streamed on the Liberty Channel.
I tuned this in last night thinking I would just flip to it now and then while watching the basketball games, and I ended up watching pretty much the whole thing. Our guys dominated, and I have to say broadcasting wrestling is right in Old School's "wheel house". I really enjoyed it.
The guys did great at Regionals. putting guys in 7/10 finals and then winning 6/10 in finals is unheard of. 6 Schools = 60 wrestlers 6/60 are our guys who won finals... that = CRAZY!
just imagine how good LU will be in a couple years when we start getting more multiple state champs. sending 6 guys to nationals with a second year program is UNHEARD of!
