I would suspect they clean house of all who are mentioned on the report...UNLESS IU decides over the next 7 days that the evidence is not that strong against them. The last thing they want is another OSU situation where they had to pay an ex-coach a hefty price tag for "wrongful termination."

They already axed an assistant coach over the mess so obviously it is not an Assistant Coach issue,it is a head coach issue. Further, KS LIED to IU, neither Dakich or Meyer lied, they fessed up. Again you are looking at two different things. A coach is TOLD he can only make X number of phone calls, it is in his contract that he will forfeit .5 mill if he violates that. So what does he do? Violates. They catch him AGAIN and lies about it not to the University but to the NCAA!!! Compare that to giving a kid a shirt and a bag and it is worlds apart. In fact, taking that violation across the NCAA I know one local school that has violated that several times. That s just a slap on the wrist, finger wagging offense. Lying to the NCAA and committing the same violation 3 times, TWICE AFTER YOU WERE CAUGHT, is a no brainer for dismissal.

As for the demon seed that is UK, that greasy haired, charlatan Pitino put them on probation for a few years before he bolted like a TV preacher who got his hand caught in the till and on a secretary. The thing I absolutely HATED about Tubby was, there was nothing to HATE him for other then the fact that he sold his soul to Mephistopholes. I'm not going to hijack this thread either but I will throw my 2 cents in...first let me say if it wasnt for Borek there may not be a Liberty University today, so I could never call him a moron. I will give Checkmate this one, he's correct...JM lost 6 boys due to off the court issues and left a few weeks in, he resigned rather than play the season without his stars and risk the outcome at the end of the season.

Thats pretty funny Sly...The whole building was chanting Kel-vin Samp-son!!!! at the end of the game. It was crazy. Also Reece Davis is a really smooth customer on ESPN GameDay. Dickie V is a ham of course but he was really nice last night. Gordon SR told me that Liberty is recruiting his middle son and that he is going to bring him down to Lynchburg to check out the campus real soon! Coach Meyer told SR I was coming so he was expecting to meet me last night. The media guys really like coach Meyer too. I saw Dakich but didn't meet him. Coach told me that he can't really talk about what is going on specifically but that it is the most surreal thing he has ever been through....One of the coolest things was the Stripe Out they did last night. Every other section wore red and white. It looked really cool.

Josh Meyer's friend got a text from some friends that said that Vitale was killing Sampson on the air. I don't think I TIVO'd it but I wouldn't mind seeing it to hear for myself. I do know the ESPN guys LOVE Coach and that includes the "talented" Erin Andrews.

I'm surprised you said that about the crowd Scar, ESPN interviewed about 10 people around campus and all of them said that he should be fired...maybe that was ESPN edited it for that but that was the verdict on the interviews.

SCAR - KS was getting ripped by the media and he should have been. Dickie V's whole point was, and I tend to agree, was that you screwed up once, you were given a second chance at a PREMIER program (despite what the mentally challenged SMOOTH says) so why would you go a blow it be doing the same thing AGAIN!!! That was his point. And not just with this offense but the earlier ones that started the whole thing. No one on the crew said much about the "improper benefits" so that bodes well for JM.
As for that Gordon kid, he is not too bad. I'm thinking he may be like on one of the All Big Ten lists if he keeps this up! Mabye even like an All American

It surprised a lot of people including the ESPN gameday crew who I was sitting 1 section away from. They were all looking around the arena as if it was a surreal chant. I thought I heard the Tyler Baker chant but I hear it so much I could be mistaken
