You mean Kyle DeArmon?

This kid who is the coach's son converted from WR to QB this past season as he replaced UVa's Peter Lalich as starting QB for his high school. He's an all-around athlete whose dad was a punter for VT and the Packers.

Then why did your QB Larsen say "We should start a 6 foot 3 Duel Threat QB" and then describe this guy...

Not like we would start a true freshman anyways, we HAVE a Duel Threat QB named Mike Brown who redshirted behind none other than Brock Smith.

If anyone at liberty knows football its the larsen.

And, if anyone at Liberty knows football, I would have to go with Danny Rocco... maybe, just maybe.

I played flag football once at LU. It shouldn't even be called football. It's really ridiculous.

larsen=ccams=trollz.

Does this forum have an ignore feature? I normally love feeding trolls (I have stock in Purina just because of their Troll Chow), but this is really getting stupid.

Back on topic, it appears the alma mater of Bryn's father has wasted no time giving him an offer ...

Virginia Tech Offers Another QB

Brian Mohr
HokieHaven.com

Quarterback is a big need for Virginia Tech in the 2009 recruiting class. The Hokies have already offered two quarterbacks and added a third scholarship not too long ago.

"I've got a couple offers from Virginia Tech and Michigan State, those are my first two," quarterback Bryn Renner said. "I picked up Michigan State last Thursday and Virginia Tech last Tuesday.

"It's a great experience to know you can compete at the next level. I like the offers."

Does anything stand out about these offers in particular?
"I like whoever is interested in me," he said. "My father played at Tech, my mom went there too and my grandmother lives about five minutes away from there.

You will notice he didn't immediately commit even though he is a Hokie legacy.

being a tech legacy does not matter to him or his father, he will make a decision best for him. For more proof that the coach's alma mater does not look at where his players have gone, only one has gone to tech.
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
