I hate to break it to everyone but this argument is retarded. there are people on both sides who obviously don't see the wrong in their side's argument and therefore will not seceeed their position on the issue thus resulting in a circular argumnet that is making this board the laughing stock of the confrence boards. this is a family argument that should be kept to PM's and personal phone calls and IM's. i'm losing respect for this whole thing by the minute.

Yes, but the phrase (as far as I know) wasn't being used in a medical context.

The intent wasn't, "that gentleman was injured in his testicles", it was meant as a scatological insult towards the opponent -- something that isn't becoming of us as 1) Christians and 2) Adults.

Gentlemen. After much consideration, I have decided that I truly do need a FF sabatical. It is going to kill me because I love this site and some of the conversations. I am however amazed that I am considered in the minority on this topic. I will be back at some point, but I can't read this place any more until this topic and the other thread have died. It makes me way too angry, and it's just not worth it.

I think some of us are going overboard about what was said. Here's the difference between Liberty fans at a Christian University against secular schools... we're not going to the games drunk and straight cussing at the players. Two years ago I went to Winthrop when we played them in the tournament as a 8 seed and as one has a history at games of being what some of you call "Non-Christian Like" I was appalled. We had a whole group of students come right to us and starting pushing us after the game with beers in their hand, inside the arena! This season I went to the game at East Carolina on a saturday night, and half their fans were wasted and yelling obscenities. I wasn't there and the only thing I know about the situation is what I've read on the locked thread...

I'm just trying to say, if you think someone saying testicle or even sucks at a basketball game is over the line, check out some other schools.
