Already looked it up yesterday, and I'm well aware of Most if not all of Wonderboy's stats. Fortunately Football is about more than stats or streeks. If not, the Chargers would have never won a playoof game again. I'm just saying that we are on a roll too. The team is all clicking right now especially the Defense. I don't know for sure if they will win But I know they have a good chance. We'll see. I love stats, but some on here love them too much.
Techmo Bowl. PshHHHH!

To clarify just slightly and make this statement more clear, I'll say this. I get tired of sweeping statistical statements like:
The Chargers NEVER______,
Or the Pats ALWAYS_____,
or Tom Brady is ALWAYS better in cold weather,
or Phillip Rivers has NEVER been good in cold weather.

I just think every one of these could be broken by one good or bad game or whatever. The Chargers have proven that already this post season.

Stats and records are made to be broken, and as they say anything can happen on "any given Sunday". Otherwise just give the Pats the stupid trophy and let's move on!

This just in: Be on the lookout for Belichick's newly hired spy at the game on Sunday. Our sources tell us he will be undercover while trying to read and relay Charger signals. Authorities have been notified and will be on the lookout throughout the stadium. They are worried though that he will be able to hide amongst the Pats fans. Here is the picture we were able to obtain of Ralph "Stanky" Swathheimer.:

weather forecast from 3pm-6pm is supposed to be 24-23 degrees with 12-11 mph winds, so not the 20+ mph winds they were calling for earlier in the week.

I'm going to predict on the assumption that both Rivers and gates play:

Patriots 31
Chargers 21

I don't think Rivers will be able to play as well as he has with that messed up knee and Gates is apparently in worse condition than last week and he was just used as a decoy last week. Tomlinson is supposed to start, but he may not be as effective as usual. The Chargers won last week with these injuries (although Rivers was healthy for most of the game), but I don't see them being able to produce a near flawless 60-minute game without these three being able to produce well...

Rivers is looking pretty good, doesn't look like his knee is hurting any at all, but this Pats red zone D is coming up big so far by making the Chargers settle for FGs instead of TDs.

well nevermind, Rivers killing the Chargers with those two INTs.

I agree....boring!!!

I still would much rather watch a Superbowl with a record on the line (most wins in an undefeated season....among a few others), than watch a beat up Chargers team.

No worries. The Chargers are a second half team. The defense must make a big stop on the Patsies opening drive. The TDs will come!

Brady sucks today...the chargers are playing some good defense, but Brady is making some poor throws out there too.

WOW, how big have maroney and faulk came up for the patriots today. maroney running all over the charger D today like I said he would and Faulk has mide timely reception after timely reception. them two and the Pats REDZONE defense has been the mvp of the day for the Pats rather they win or lose.

PATRIOTS BABY! :D :D :D

Now let's go PACKERS! If they go to the Super Bowl, one of my two favorite teams will have to win the title by default! :D

Congrats dude, and all other Bandwagon Pats fans.

Our defense Folded when it counted, and we couldn't get in the endzone at all. Embarassing.

I'm here to take my lumps and say I was wrong. Evil Bill made some good adjustments, but I still hate him. But, it was low scoring and close like I said.

My only hope now is that the Packers take the bums out.

seem pretty silly :D (had to say it man gmtm)

I had a feeling the Chargers would keep it competitive...almost anytime most people think a game is going to be one sided the opposite happens....

I couldn't believe Norv Punted on 4-10 with 6 minutes to go and down 2 scores. He knew that the Defense was spent and that we HAD to score, and he punted. You have to score to win, you are on the 40, go for it.

I agree, i was shocked they didn't go for it, but what do you expect when you get a coach who's been mediocre at best every other year he's been a head coach??

He shook that crud off this year. It's one bad decision. He had a great year!

Wrong. LT was not subpar, he was HURT. Did you miss that? But yes Maroney owned the D in the second half after only 16 yds in the first. The defense was obviously exhausted.

They said he was NINETY PERCENT before the game and he couldn't even stay in for two possessions and he didnt even get reinjured. If you are at 90% and dont get reinjured and you cant stay in that long, that is subpar.
5 for 5 rule Meeting

Thoughts?
