Do any of you guys (I'm really thinking LUconn and RTF, Rubber Mallet have to) watch Talk Soup??? I just watched it for the first time (I know it's been on for years with a few hosts) and I'm going to admit I havent laughed this hard in a while....maybe it's b/c the writers are still on strike but I enjoyed it more than anything else I've seen on TV in a while

I used to love it but, honestly, I haven't watched it since Aisha Tyler left the show. Her and Jon "Skunk Spot" Henson were my favorite all-time hosts.

Nothing beats John Henson. But this new version is just The Soup. It seems like they just have 10 guys watchign everything on TV possible and report back anything funny that they saw. How do you get that job? But yeah, the new guy is pretty good. I thought Aisha Tyler was not funny at all and what ultimately killed the first version. And they had that other dude, Hal Sparks. Who is actually a funny comedian, but was just awful on that show.

I say this every time Joel McHale comes up in conversation: he should be the next host of Late Night.

Joel used to be on a late night comedy skit show (Almost Live) in Seattle and was terrific. He's been doing this stuff a long time despite his youthful looks.

He was also an a show once that was on NBC for like 2 weeks, if that. He was pretty good on that. It was "Thank God You're Here". Which had the pontential to be funny, like Who's Line Is It Anyway, but they thought that they could get famous yet unfunny people to do it.

I enjoyed the first twenty minutes of that show. Brian Cranston was unbelievable. Then they followed that up with Mo'Nique and the Congenitally Unfunny All-Stars. I pretty much knew that show was toast when I saw that David Allen Grier was involved and that Dave Foley didn't care enough to even shave off that ridiculous mustache.
