RADFORD, Va. – Radford women’s basketball head coach Jeri Porter has announced that Greg Pulliam has joined the Highlanders’ coaching staff as an assistant. At Radford he will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the program including working with guards, scouting and recruiting.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to be reunited with Coach Pulliam,” said Porter. “He brings a new energy and perspective to our staff at RU. He has had the opportunity to work with several excellent head coaches over the years, and his insight will be invaluable to me as we turn the corner with out program here. I am looking forward to a very productive, and long standing relationship with Greg as a member of our staff.”
He comes to Radford after spending last season as the assistant coach at the University of Missouri St. Louis. While at UMSL, he served as the recruiting coordinator and was also in charge of team travel, scouting and player development.
Prior to UMSL, he spent one season at Saint Louis University as an assistant under Jill Pizzotti where he was responsible for scouting, recruiting and player development. While he was on the bench, the team achieved a 17-14 record and reached the 2003 WNIT.

Pulliam scouted opponents and assisted with film exchange and individual workouts. His first Conference USA coaching stint was as the director of basketball operations at Southern Miss for two seasons, where Pulliam was in charge of strength and conditioning, on-campus recruiting and player development. He was on the staff that qualified for the 2000 WNIT.
He got his start in coaching at his alma mater Liberty University in 1997. He spent two seasons on the Lady Flames’ coaching staff and was in charge of on campus recruiting and player development. LU reached the NCAA Tournament in both 1998 and 1999, with the 1997-98 team posting the best record in the program's history at 28-1.
