I don't really know if that's the case, but I was looking on anygivensaturday.com and a poster from SHS alluded to the fact that there is a deal in the works with a Big South school for a game in 2008 and return trip in 2010, with the possibility of it even being a 4 game deal. He said it’s not Stony Brook, and I’m willing to bet it’s us.

Liberty is still looking to fill the final date on its 2008 football schedule. Rocco wants a home game for Sept. 6, leaving Oct. 18 as the lone open date on the 12-game schedule.

The games that are locked down are home dates against North Greenville (Aug. 30), North Carolina Central (Sept. 20), Stony Brook (Oct. 11), Charleston Southern (Oct. 25), Gardner-Webb (Nov. 15) and Elon (Nov. 22); and road dates against Western Carolina (Sept. 13), Youngstown State (Sept. 27), Coastal Carolina (Oct. 4), Presbyterian (Nov. 1) and VMI (Nov. 8).

See, I think wearing the red should only happen for 'special' games. Getting over the hump versus Coastal was 'special' but, unless Elon is having a great season, I don't see anyone on our home schedule that would qualify. Honestly, if all goes well, I say we leave the red in the closet for the regular season and what happens after that happens after that.

Well depends on when homecoming is. My bet would be homecoming would be Stony Brook, Family weekend will be NC Central and Band Parents weekend will be Gardner Webb. I could see us wearing red for HC if it worked out that way. If HC was Charleston Southern I really would not see it as a "red-uni worthy" game. If it worked out that way Id save red for the playoffs should we make it

You think we wear red for GW if that ends up being Band parents Weekend? I really think red is for those real watershed games like Coastal was this past season. and honestly if GW had won that game (and the Big South as a result), then I think that we would want to wear it. But now I really dont think that is a game to go breaking out those uniforms for
