This matchup is over. USC comes in on a 4 game winning streak, while the Jayhawks come in having lost to Missouri in their last game. Despite a spirited attempt at a comeback by Kansas in the 4th quarter, USC wins this one 24-21. John David Booty throws for 178 yards, while Stafon Johnson rushes for 92 yards and 3 TDs to pace the victorious men of Troy. Brandon McAnderson finished with 110 yards rushing and a TD while Todd Reesing threw for 250 yards and one TD. Scott Webb missed a 39 yard field goal with under a minute left that would have forced overtime.
