I have one question. Why on a flase start do the refs not just let the play go and then give the D an option? I know thats how its always been, just asking. Mostly because Baltimore stops New England on 4th and 1 and their guard false starts so New England gets another shot on their game winning drive. Not sure if I understand the logic with blowing the play dead, but thats just me.

Not blaming that play for the loss, Baltimore did plenty to lose tonight

Or an obvious time out call. Several of their players blamed the loss on the refs. Get over it. You didn't hear any of our players blaming our loss to W&M on the refs.

Okay someone respond to me I feel like starting a whining thread

Why do they not let a false start run through and give the Defense an option?

The Ravens D was physical all night, most if not all the penalty calls were acurate, yes Im a Ravens fan.

I don't know why, I just know they don't, and that's all that matters.

it basically boils down to the fact that the QB and center dictates the start of a play.

a false start is just that, a false start....the play hasn't started yet....it might not seem fair but a defensive player can correct an offsides...he can get back out of the neutral zone. its not the case in a false start...you move, there is no resetting, whistle is blown...that is the reason why its blown dead immediately...
