If you had read the previous posts, I said that we didn't get the feed with the video. There was no real story because of this on this one occasion. It was simply a mention with a score and a congrats. No story, no headline. That simple.

exactly...they to talk LU sports, but its no longer then 10-15 seconds simply because they spend the rest of the time talking about UVA and Tech...that is the market, and that is the way it is...I don't have to like it and I don't...but like you said Medic it would be nice if fumble would at least admit that is what is going on instead of sticking up for channel 13 all the time....

I simply thought that was the understood part of this conversation and common sense. I guess I shouldn't assume anything in this crowd. NO viewer thinks we do enough. We get slammed by UVA and Tech fans EVERY week. I just think folks don't get the process. Let's not forget that it is HS playoff season too (Football and Volleyball).
I take it personally because I take great strides to get LU covered every day. I harp on it constantly!

I can remember the CH.13 cameraman at almost every home game during the "dark" years. . . . .I think I saw them once maybe...maybe twice during this STELLAR season. I'm very disappointed too in their poor coverage.

technically, she said she only SAW them once or twice. But then agreed that maybe she was looking for the wrong guy.

Besides- I'm not gonna argue with her- she has mystical powers, you know.

OK...I will admit it. We at 13 are only out for the UVA and Tech markets...and the local high schools. We only cover LU because we have to...not because we want to. You should see the emails and letters asking for MORE Tech and UVA...and wonder why we even give LU and LC passing mentions. Others would like to see more HS coverage. Sly will agree...we have to cater to the largest market and the interest of our viewers.
