Creative, misguided and obnoxious.

As a sports guy he is entertaining ... and a news commentator he is boorish.

Dan Abrams too. I know Chris Matthews is a big lib too, but I actually don't mind him--most of the time.

Abrams and Olbermann make me sick though.

He was creative on sportscenter, but now he just goes with the fringe extreme left wing talking points. His whole show is so extreme and far to the left. He's more like Rosie O'Donnell then anything else. Which I guess explains his low ratings.

Any and everying GW Bush does is trashed by Olbermann. It just gets really old. I used to like David Letterman's show but the last few years he's become so political. His hatred for conservatives is just as evident.

I disagree. It's always been quite apparent to me that Letterman hates all politicians. When they're on his show he's usually somewhat amiable, but everything I've ever seen from him makes me think he just thinks the entire thing is a mess.

Also: I don't know a lot about Olbermann, but to be fair, it's not exactly hard to trash W.

It's one thing to pick on Bush a little, I understand but he downright hateful and slanderous. As far Letterman goes you're wrong. He hates conservatives. Have you seen his interview with Bill O'Reilly. I'm no fan of O'reilly but Letterman was jerk.

If you listen to Letterman's monologue its full of jokes about Bush whereas Leno picks on everybody. I used to like Letterman. I think some his stuff is hilarious but he has changed Big Time.

I never cared for Keith when he was on ESPN, he tried to be funny, and he isn't. As far as his hatred for Bush it is obvious

"The Worst Person In the NFL"

That could probably win an award for the worst idea for a segment on a sports show. And obviously his MSNBC show is worthless. But his show is concidered to be "smart" while the rest of them aren't. I wonder why.

His target audience is not the conservatives...so of course on a conservative leaning message board, folks are going to rip him. I am interested in finding out which of the dems he's going to back.

Bill O'Reilly is almost always a jerk when he interviews people and I think Letterman was just giving it back to him. It was supposed to be funny. I thought it was.

Letterman still does plenty of Billary jokes. I think maybe you're just overlooking them. He does at least 3 Hillary pantsuit jokes a week.

I must be old. I don't stay up late enough to watch Letterman. Who cares what he thinks anyway? He is an entertainer.

I don't stay up late either. That's what DVR's are for. I record all of the late night shows for the musical guests. I delete about 75% of them without watching them, but sometimes they have someone on that I like.

I don't necessarily care what Letterman thinks, but I think it's unwise to write off anyone as just an entertainer in a country so obsessed with entertainment. I think the obsession is completely ridiculous, but that doesn't change what it is. Celebrities are American royalty and unfortunately they have a lot of influence with a lot of people in our culture.

I don't care what anyone says; Great Moments in Presidential Speeches is one of the funniest segments ever.

I remember watching Letterman after GWB became president and Letterman stood up and said he wanted to personally thank Clinton for 8 years of the best comedic material ever given to him.

And....Great Moments in Presidential speeches is hilarious! Ya gotta admit. GWB does set himself up to be made fun of....

I think that still holds true. Bush has yielded some fodder, no doubt, but most of the Bush jokes have been "dumb" humor, which is easy to write and not very original.

I have no problem laughing at GW. I think Frank Caliendo is hilarious. Letterman, to me, has lost it. His agenda is just to easy to see.
