what good is this game???? why risk any injuries?

smells like there are 2 teams on campus that want to get to 40 wins...this whole cross town thing doesn't work for me, I think they saw it'll be close and why not chalk up 2 more wins to make it more convincing

Did people attack the basketball coach like this when he played Lynchburg College? I tried to go back and look but the pages on here didn't go back that far.

It sounds to me like this dude has something personal against the coach... and the baseball coach too. Almost like even though they are having good seasons, that he is trying to find something criticle to say.

nothing at all against the coach, he's done a great job this year....but we WOULD attack any other coach if they have had a successful season and mid way through decide to add another DIII team....if you were having a bad season and wanted to give the girls a taste of some wins that that's understandable....but it seems like the girls have tasted that 30 times and most coach's don't want to make up rain outs or add games at this point in the year and want rest to prepare for the turmoil of the tourney


it's nothing personal, and it wouldnt have even been mentioned if it was scheduled before the season (well, maybe since it does come right before a pretty big series) but none the less, it was just odd and I hope Coach D does something like this next season right before a big 3 game stretch with WU, CCU & RU so we can hang him by his toe nails....b/c if you think these comments were bad then they will absolutely murder him!

Also understand that these comments come after speaking to a few everyday players who also didnt see the logic

Buffalo with a 4 day rest and playing again at home with it scheduled before the season

UNCG (DH)
LC(DH)
Charleston Southern (DH) on 2 days rest with road trip
Coastal Carolina (DH) 1 day after another road trip

so that's 8 games in 5 days with 2 days of travel....and BELIEVE ME our MBB needed those wins much more than SB did but I'm not sure they would have even went through this to get 2 of them....then again maybe, it was a really bad year!

so again, this is the same as playing one of those Classic except harder due to the travel time and not having all of the games in one location, there's a reason teams dont play in classics this time of the year (in conference sched.) & most would want to rest the team instead of make them play 2 games that were not scheduled...there was a reason these dates were open at the beginning of the season right! REST.....ok the soap box is now returned to BrokeBack....it just erks me when people try to shove logic where it cant fit
