What gives with all the hostility? I didn't talk any smack to LU or try to take away from your win on Saturday. And you're right about everyone on your squad being bigger than us. No kidding. You have 63 scholarships available. We're at 40 and climbing. If you weren't bigger and deeper with the money you have then shame on you. Sorry to disappoint, but EVERY team we square up against is bigger than us. Liberty isn't a special snowflake. But please, keep hating on our program. In your post you sounded really excited to talk trash about a team you beat severely. It's obvious that you're not used to that kind of thing, or at least you haven't experienced it in a while. After all, this is LU's first winning season in how long? In addition, that comment about "way to go and play crappy teams and beat them and feel good about yourselves" was totally unnecessary. I hope it makes you feel great knowing that you smacked the Hose or hosed the Presbyterians or whatever lame and played-out expressions you've concocted.

And there it is. It took longer for that excuse to pop up than I expected, but it came up.

The two Division I wins you have are against teams with a combined 3-11 record vs other Division I teams. The ones we've beaten aren't any better, but we're not taking pictures in front of scoreboards or anything.

You've been here for a while, so forgive us if we're excited about playing and winning against teams in this conference our first time out. WE think being 2-1 in our new conference is an accomplishment, but I guess we shouldn't think so now that mighty Liberty is our new suzerain. VMI's importance has dropped a little after our win at Coastal, which was another big one for us. Screw their record this season; Coastal has many more athletes than we do, and WE thought it was a huge accomplishment to beat them in Conway. Talking trash is one thing, and what ticked me off the most was the fact that whoever-it-was took shots after LU beat a team over whom they were a 30+ point favorite. He's free to do that, though. I was just responding to it.

Except most of your guys said all week that you thought you'd win and that size and strength didn't matter because you were so fast. And now, after the game, you whine about the scholarships.



Oh yea, even more reasons to say Bentley is a d----- and only cares about the numbers on offense:

In a game where he was completely outplayed and gave up over 500 yards of offense, he had to point out that they got their offensive numbers, even though they only scored 14 points.

And some of PC's fans were talking trash on the Presby by the numbers thread. Now you're coming on here saying the game was an aberration. I'd love to play you again and do the same thing to you.

Agreed. I even tried to go over to their board and be nice, but that didn't seem to work out.

Let's forget about The Blue Hose until next year. This kind of stuff is distracting from our Beat Coastal mentality.
