I'll bet that even Duke couldn't follow that one up.
Just for you Dox.
**** PG 6-2 Andre Jones (Nansemond River) Suffolk, VA - Rated 4 stars by Rivals, #9 point guard in class of 2008. At this point, Virginia, Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Georgetown and Connecticut have shown the most interest in Jones, and he said that George Mason had been coming on strong as of late. 3/07 - Jones said Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Virginia, George Mason, Georgetown and NC State have been in to see him in action this year. Virginia Tech, Virginia, George Mason and Old Dominion have offered a scholarship, Jones said.

LUconn wrote:These ranking are all bunk anyway. He's probably very good. But when he's a 2 star at scout and a 4 at rivals, it shows you how garbage they are. That's a huge difference.

jmdickens wrote:you cannot be #9 in the country at PG and go to Winthrop......He did fall off, a bit. Winthrop, just like everyone else in the East, has been tracking his progress for a long time. But don't make stupid comments like this. Their program is so much further ahead of the Big South right now. And this is how they stay there.

Conference affiliations aside, Winthrop is as good as or even much better of a men's basketball program than any of those schools listed who offered him.

He was really good when he was younger, that's why he had the big boys on him(High Major schools) he leveled off and fell to the Big South... Why wouldn't VCU be all over him if he was a 4 star. George Mason recruited him because they wanted his teammate Nicholas Wright and him as a package. Nice commitment for WU though. He was a big-time recruit and then fell off.

If those two say something, I'm going to listen to them 100x before I'll ever listen to you.
