the doctor has actually called other doctors at duke and stuff, and it happened at baptist but she is now in General. so she has had several different opinions. they seem to be sure that they know whats going on.

Forgive my questioning, but what happened? I read where they got an air bubble in her veins, but what happened before that?

she is doing much better this morning. they took her completely off the ventilator, took the tubes out of her mouth, and are going to take the tube out of her nose in a little bit.

what happened was she was in the hospital for another problem that wasn't major and they had a central line going in, and when they took it out they had her sitting up, then they let her walk around right afterwards. it caused the air bubble. needless to say the hospital is going to be in a little trouble for malpractice, because she was supposed to be laying down while they took it out and for 20 minutes afterwards

Wow! I am glad that she is doing better and I will continue to be thinking/praying for her. Any word on when she will be released?

she is completely breathing on her own and eating now. she ate a grilled cheese for lunch and a milk shake. so praise God that she is doing better.
i think she is moving to a regular room tomorrow out of icu

she has started having a lot of chest pain, and was flown to UVA monday night. they are running a lot of tests on her heart and lungs, but so far are not coming up with anything. they can't figure out what is going on, so pray that the doctors can figure it out.

yeah she was.
i actually just talked to her on the phone, and i got great news. she is getting out of the hospital today!
the doctors at UVA have ran all the tests on her, and they said that this pain is not her heart or lungs, but has something to do with a muscle in her ribs or chest or something like that. she couldn't really explain it well, but hopefully her mom will be able to when i talk to her later. anyway, they changed her medicine, and she is feeling great!

Praise God for His healing and for being with her and me through this time!
