"Pre game meal" Means sitting under the tent and hanging out?

I think I wanna tailgate instead, get the tailgate special, or some Mac n Cheese from KFC.
were not doing kfc. i know the area, we can get much better food than that. cough bojangles cough
but i'm tailgating with family, so i won't be eating bojangles.
if anyone wants to know where somethings at there let me know, as i live 15-20 minutes away so i know the area really well

If you need a place to eat post-game (or pregame for that matter): Little Italy. I swear by this restaurant. I know the owners and everything.

bojangles you cant do better then that... Well you dont know the area then. This is BBQ country. If you down in Elon Hurseys BBQ is the best. If you comming up 85 a stop in lexington is what you need to do. If you drunk after the game you cant beat sandy subs just down the road

the bojangles thing was kind of an inside thing from last weekend. obviously there are better places then that.
as far as hursey's, i freakin love that place. i normally go to the one in graham though.
sorry jon, but i'd recommend that over little italy. of course, i went to school with some of the hursey kids, so i kind of know the family.
i guess it depends on what you want

That place is freaking awesome. The one in King is better (it's the biggest of the three) but Gino's doing a good job at the one in Burlington. The guys who own it have a brother in High Point that has a place called Mama Mia that I've only eaten at once but it was phenomenal.

Hey LU fans! I'm really excited about the game this weekend. I've seen some of you on the Elon board, so thanks for coming by for some "respectul discussion."

I haven't predicted a score, much less a winner for the game, but I do think it will be tight.

It sounds like we're pitting one of the SoCon's best special teams against the BS's best in special teams. Should be a pretty special game, and I hope no one ends up riding the "special" bus afterwards!!! Enough of the special.....

Anyway, here's to a good.....INJURY FREE game.

Hooters is at the 141 exit on I 85, they have lots of TV's so you can watch the other games going on, that is if you can keep your head from bobbing up and down. :D Steak N Shake across the street in case you get hungry.

Williamsburg didn't have a Bojangles anywhere around the stadium. That's why we are making the jokes.

Take a hat and sunblock - visitors stands directly face into the sun. PC has played at Elon the past two years - the first year we got cooked.

Elon has nice fans however parking lot attendants are mean - they saw our PC tag on the truck and told us the closest visitor parking was in Raleigh (not really but visitors parking is way off so we parked with the nice Elon home crowd and they never said a word - I was almost sure we had air in the tires before the game - kidding).

Please win Saturday for the Big South - you guys can do it.

If PC can actually win our first FCS game, we will both be winners this weekend! Wish us luck against Western Carolina - our team is starting to get it. Thurs night, we were down 21-7 at the half, then we tied it up - we had momentum on Samford until they stole the ball in the 4th qtr and ran for a TD - PC lost 34-24 - we did OK until the lack of fresh players later in the game.... When we play Liberty on 10/27, please ask your guys to leave the ball alone when it isn't your turn to have the ball.

Go Flames Saturday!

No problem at all...It was one of Dr.Falwell's last projects...He wanted to cover the state of Virginia and North Carolina...This will definitely help the exposure of Liberty Athletics...

From Chris' LU Notebook:
LU Notebook: Elon's rise parallels Liberty's

By Chris Lang
Lynchburg News & Advance
September 19, 2007

Second-year Elon coach Pete Lembo has an acute understanding of what Danny Rocco faced when he took over Liberty's struggling program in 2006.

That's because Lembo had the same sort of challenges when, at about the same time, he was hired to resurrect an awful Phoenix program.
