If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

This kid has the tools to be a star on Sundays a few years down the road. Just to see him would be worth the price of admission.

This kid is supposed to visit Happy Valley on saturday PS vs Notre Dame and when he does it will be tough for someone else to get this kid when he hears 110,000 fans chearing for PS. The atmosphere up there on game day is just unreal.

sorry but look on his rivals page and you will see that he has PSU listed as "HIGH interest". not saying that he will come but when you go to a Penn State football game that place is magical! and more than one recruite has signed after attending a game that was not interested in going there.

i have seen the list. i have also been to happy valley and though it is an awesome place to watch a game i would hardly call it "magical". you must sip from joepa's kool-aid cup. :D i look for him to stay in the sunny south, but who knows...high school kids change their minds in a heartbeat

I am not a Penn State apologist but believe me you must not have been there on gameday because every high school kid that goes up there for a game especially big games like saturdays versus Notre dame just loves the atmosphere and fans. Compare the 110,000 to the 65,000 at VA Tech and the place just erupts come gametime.

Unless he has close friends or family on campus, I can think of not one reason that anybody (with as many choices as this kid has) would choose Penn State. If he were from the Keystone State or a cold weather climate it would make sense. But come on ....

For the record, I haven't been to happy valley for a game. But its one of the few major stadiums that I haven't attended under the guise of a paycheck. And its reputation does not exceed the others.

PSU does very well recruiting in MD,Va, SC, and are now making roads into FLA look at their boards dude they recruit nationally and get high profile kids every year they will be top ten in recruiting this year bank it!

You southern boys need to get over the warm thing it doesn't go with football. Kids don't care anymore they just want to play and play as soon as they can. esp. the really good ones. That's why no school will stay on top for decades like the past. (even though USC could be the one exception they have it all out there night life and the town with all the glitter and no pro football team which makes USC number one in the fall sports department)

you say you are not a kool-aid drinker, but obviously you are. PSU has always recruited well in VA/MD based on proximity alone. you say you recruit so well in the south...look at your roster you have 12 players from the south! the majority of your roster is from PA. N.Y. NJ and ohio. though you may recruit nationally like most schools do now, are you signing them??? it appears no. cmon steve admit you are a homer and leave it at that.

If I was a homer I would watch every game and make at least 1 trip to Happy Valley every year. I don't do either but when you live in Harrisburg that's all you hear about whether you like it or not. By the way I root for Pitt if you want to know the truth. I have always liked the underdog!

I am a rare Pitt fan who does love JoePa though. I do love seeing him run up and down the sideline yelling at the refs and looking like he could spit nails at the opposing team. He's old school and I like that. So yes I guess I do love to sip from his gatorade cup at times :D . It is very sweet and once you start you can't stop.

As a native Buckeye, you'll have to forgive my natural disdain for JoePa and the ugly generic gear.

The longer Lloyd Carr is at Michigan the better it is for the rest of the Big Ten. (or is it Eleven?)

The Bucks pounded Youngstown State the same time that Big Blue was getting embarrassed in the Big House. :P

You'd think you guys in Colorado would have understanding for I-AA missteps. Montana State anyone?
