I'm sure most of us have heard or seen this in the last couple of days

(I can't actually see if that's the right clip so let me know if it's not. Google tells me that's right.)

Just in case you think this woman is possibly an idiot, I'll include this illustrative map of her ideas. As you can see, her intellect is far beyond anything we can understand.

She appeared on one of the morning shows today. She still didn't seem like the brightest tool in the shed, but it was apparent that she just froze up on stage and couldn't think. She basically admitted this morning that she was scared to death and wasn't thinking straight. Though if you're going to be Miss America or whatever, you should probably work on public speaking skills.

She is like so smart and stuff. I really like her theory. Cna you imagine that so many Americans don't have maps. That's aweful. Se needs to start a charity to give out maps to the underprivledged.

seriously, though, does anybody believe that 1/5 of americans can't locate the US on a map? As much as we like to poke fun at ourselves, there is no way we are that stupid as a country. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Maybe 1/5 of americans are either retarded, are physically unable to locate the U.S. because they're paralyzed, or are under the age of 7. It might be true if that were the case.

We're one of the biggest countries in the world. It's not hard to find us.

I watched this girls response and I am in utter amazement. My wife is very familiar with pageants, so I asked her for some help with the interpretation of the video. She recommended that I ask another expert friend. I received a response, everything is clear, and I can now continue with my day.

Me: (expert friend), can you please interpret this response for me?

Expert friend: Ummm....yeah...like of course. She was obviously trying to explain that the reason for the problem that was the question was about something more about what was going on and stuff and she was really trying to say was that however, it may be, or what not and so forth and probably more along the lines of world peace.

I'm sure if the map didn't include so many lines she would've finished higher than "third-runner up."

App State? I would have pegged her for Winthrop.

I heard that she was initially going to go to Radford but couldn't find it on a map.

Really? Considering WU has higher admission standards than Liberty?

Sorry, had to point that one out.

I actually would have pegged her for Clemson :D

Liberty doesn't have an admission standard.

Moving on...

Maybe we'll see some one day...(after all, Notre Dame has admission standards, right? And that is the goal, if I remember correctly.) :fineprint

BTW, Kimmel is breaking down her finest moment.

I still don't know how I'd answer the question. It really is a stupid question.

I would have answered like Will Ferrell in Anchorman. "Really? That's just Dumb"
