He's battling a woman for time in goal in the minors. From the Pittsburgh fishwrap:

Hurley will be battling for the starting job with Kevin Rainey, the Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League's Goaltender of the Year in 2006-07 with the Norwood Vipers.

Rainey also played previously with the Coburg Cougars of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League and with Liberty University.
