Liberty defeats Radford for the 24th consecutive match, 3-2 (25-27, 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 15-8). Lillie Happel finished with a career high 26 kills and Loren Thomas had 8 kills and 6 blocks to put her at 444 for her career, 8 behind Anthonia Apkama for second all time (Kim Lawson is first with 532). Caroline Douglas finished with 15 kills, good for her 20th match with 10 or more kills on the season.
To put Liberty's run of dominance over the Highlanders in perspective, the last time Radford defeated Liberty (2001), Radford's freshmen this year (Meg Bowers, Cheyanne James, Nicole Lambert and Savanna Burton) were in the second grade.
