The Liberty Lady Flames got off to a rousing start at the 2010 Big South Women's Soccer Championship presented by Musco Sports Lighting by knocking off the #3 seed Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 3-2 and avenging an earlier 1-0 loss during the regular season. Maria Owen and Ariana Espinoza had goals for the victors. They will face the winner of the last match between #2 seed and host Radford and #7 seed Gardner Webb.

Great news. Our ladies have had a puzzling year. They are definately capable of winning this tournament despite going in as the 6th seed.
