Lehigh Valley Catz pitcher Tyler Light is not trying to turn a page, he's trying to follow one.

Light would love to emulate the success of former Catz pitcher Ryan Page. Like Page, Light is a Liberty University product.

''Ryan is a good friend of mine and he struggled a little bit as a junior, came up here with the Catz last summer and transitioned that into a great senior season at Liberty,'' Light said. ''He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays. I hope I can encounter the same situation because I had a tough junior season at Liberty and am looking for my time here as a steppingstone.''

But Light, a 6-3, 190-pound righthander, has been, well, lights out, for the Catz. In his last three starts covering 24 innings, he is 3-0 with just two runs (both unearned) and five hits allowed, 20 strikeouts and four walks.
