VCU (15-28 overall) visits worthington tonight with the first pitch scheduled for 7pm. This is the last non-conference game of the year for LU before ending the regular season against high point. The Rams who have won four of their last five games won their weekend series against Hofstra, while the Flames (28-23-1) beat longwood twice and also tied on sunday.

Despite VCU's poor record this year they are a respected program in the state of Virginia based on their past. This game is very important to us and I think that we should win and avenge that early season defeat when it looked like we had stolen one away after being down the whole game. This game will have no bearing on our postseason aspirations but we need to win to get some respect .
