the flames hit the road again to face the monarchs in norfolk with first pitch scheduled for 6pm. LU (20-20 overall) is coming off a 10-7 loss to JMU yesterday while ODU (18-20 overall) lost to maryland last night 6-5. any flame fans in the area should get out and support the guys!

We are up 10-3 at the top of the 8th. Cody Brown with a homer and right now it looks as if we are just coasting. The pitchers have been getting into jambs but seem to work their way out of them. Lets see if this one holds up.

We win 11-3. An outstanding performance tonight against a very solid ODU team.

i would hardly call ODU solid this year, but it is always nice to get a win on the road. now it's time for winthrop.

who cares if it's CAA. why do so many on this board drool over the CAA? the big south is a better baseball conference. it's cool to beat an in-state foe, but i could care less what conference they are in.
