Games #37-39 vs. VMI

The first place keydets (9-3 Big south 19-17 overall) visit lynchburg for a pivotal big south series with game times slated for 7pm friday, 4pm saturday, and 1pm sunday. VMI has won four straight after a 10-7 win over Norfolk State wednesday. LU (6-3 Big south 18-18 overall) is coming of an 11-1 loss to virginia tech, but has won four ouf their last five games. get out and support the guys as they aim to get to the top of the big south standings!

This is a huge series if we are going to make a play for the title. Wish I were in Lynchburg this weekend instead of painting my house in Houston.

Mine is brick with wood trim. It is the latter that is filling my day. I hate spackle.

Flames up 3-0 after 3.
It will be interesting to see if VMI crashes and burns at this time of the season just as they have done the previous two seasons.

One thing I noticed that was strange - VMI's 2nd P had 2 completly different deliveries. He had what looked like a sidearm FB and hard slider, but then he had and overhead curve and maybe a change that he threw overhead as well. He wasnt accurate at all, but thats not the point.

LU was up 4-0 but VMI scored 3 in 8th and now have a runner in scoring position in 9th
