So what locals (including resident or off campus students) are skipping watching the Davidson game on TV tonight to go to LU's first night baseball game on campus???

3-1 Liberty in the bottom of the fourth. Two on, two out. They're having server issues, which is why the gametracker is down.

Thanks for the update and I hope those server issues get resolved soon.

Thanks for the pic, Knuckles. And ditto on the score updates, Scribe.
The Horns lead the Cardinal by 9 at the break and Curry & Co. lead the Badgers by four early in the second half.

Dark in Lynchburg at 8:40 EST, but LU is playing under the lights and is tied at 3-3 in the bottom of the 5th.
Oh, and the game is on the radio at 90.9.

Apparently they just anounced that the attendance was over 3100. Most ever in history of baseball. (at Liberty)

Still tied at 3 during 7th inning stretch time.
3100 at a baseball game??? I'd love to know how KK counted all those folks--in the dark.

I was there for the early innings before coming down to the radio station to take over producing...the bleachers were absolutely packed and there were people all over the right field hill and a lot of folks right behind homeplate where I was...so even with the attempts at humor, it is a packed house tonight

That is AWESOME guys, and 3100?? Wow. Having played at that park when barely anyone was there, and knowing that there are a lot of baseball fans at Liberty that is awesome to see. Obviously jealous for Asheville and their sad state of baseball facilities...but congrats, enjoy it, and we'll see if you guys can't pull it out tonight.

5-3 coastal.... Sorry to say but I think thats it...coastal isn't in the habit of blowing late inning leads, not with the arms they have in the pen. Still a great game from the looks of it, and too bad first night game didn't have a better result.
