Anybody know who is throwing the rock today? And for everyone who showed up yesterday...thanks for your early support! I can't tell you how lucky you are to be able to enjoy seeing their games live. Now step it up and bring a friend or two to todays game. For us left coast fans we are going to have to hope for a small miracle and hope that more games can be broadcasted via web! By the way I didn't catch the name of the announcer for the home opener but he did a very nice job. Last comment...what was up with the double by Grijalva that was challenged by Storm to be a homerun? Did anyone get a better view than the umpire?
Good luck today STORM TROOPERS! GO FLAMES!

The LUnatics...I love it. One of the all time great names for a student fan base. The only challenge is ... now you have to live up to the name. May your group multiply. By the way it is fan base like this that gives the home team a real advantage! Keep your enthusiasm (and your integrity) Go Flames

Not better but just as good: I was standing at the top of the bleachers with half a dozen other guys, and about half of us thought the batter hit it out, but it reality he missed a dinger by just a few inches.

Its now all on Aaron here in the 8th where a base hit could win us the game for intents & purposes heading to the 9th.

He struck out swinging. Grijalva up now 2 outs!
He also struck out swinging to retire the Flames. We left 2 more on base for a total of 12!

That 8th inning was the dagger. 2 on and nobody out and we can't find a way to push him on the tying run. Ugh.
Oh well, let's take this series tomorrow.

We got to see the perfect Storm today!!!...he got in boobie whiteheads face and let him have it baby!!!! I loved it...cant believe he didnt get tossed b/c there was some brim bumping going on but either way the team needed that passion in that moment.
We put ourselves in positions to win which is all you can ask for but we have to finish. We did a great job advancing the runners to 2nd and 3rd when needed but just couldnt get that basehit or fly ball to bring them in....way to many left on base...and yes that's a tough way to end the game...gotta go down swinging!
I cant say page really didnt pitch well b/c he wasnt that bad...i've seen him better but there was one inning where there was 1 error and 3 infield hits, so that's just tough breaks right there. He'll be fine and we'll be fine...just need the productive outs when we're in that situation.
