did anyone else notice the lack of coverage that the newspaper gave to LU baseball this weekend? It seems to me that it would have received more, especially with the new staff. They did not even have a write up Sunday or today.

There should've been something in the fishwrap. But Chris' primary responsibilities right now are basketball related. I have feeling they'll pick up later this week.

We can't complain about it this time of year. In a market such as ours, the beginning of the season, other than football, doesn't get much coverage. Basketball starts getting more coverage once football finishes, and baseball gets more coverage once basketball is over.

Not to mention, this is smack in the middle of HS basketball tournaments...
...although LC got a great write-up in Monday's paper.

Trust me, it will get better...especially for home games. Chris does a great job but it was hard for him to be in Florida and covering LU and HS hoops action.

Baseball travel has never been in our budget and never will be. We're lucky to still go on the road for basketball. There should have been something in Monday's paper about the Iowa game. Whoever was working desk that night fumbled that one. I'll be out there Friday and Saturday this week, but not Sunday.
