We're two days out from the beginning of the Toman era. So consider this your thread to talk about facing the Irish or simply getting the season started.

I've never been a big college baseball guy, but I'm actually looking forward to this season and the future with Toman at the helm.

I suspect we will be facing the ND stud pitcher, David Phelps...a kid on the "Watch list" for college player of the year. This will be a legit first test for the Flames.

Any way to follow this from the Burg? Radio? TV? Live Stats?

I know that 90.9 is going to be doing games this season once again but I do not think there are plans to go to the tournament in FL. GMTM would have a better idea than I would of just what games are going to be broadcast this year

Radio will not start until the first home series with Rider... According to ND's website they will have gametracker and they also have a link for Audio... So I assume they will be doing the game...

Former Alum will be coaching against them. Former flame catcher Graham Sykes is one of the assistants at Notre Dame. Great guy....

I had wondered where he went...Graham was an asst at JMU last year.

Can't wait. With new coach I am excited for this upcoming year - not like our team was terrible the last few years but hopefully we can do get to the top now. I hope we will do well against the Irish today.

Yes...we have had some very good players the past 2-3 years.
