Biggest difference I see in this class as opposed to old ones: Local talent.

That's a huge class...and very impressive...

...I've read good things about the catcher from IL.

I love seeing the legacy. We've finally been around long enough to start seeing the offspring of our early greats come back home to the mountain.

3 JUCos and 9 high schoolers ... nice mix.

The class appears to be better than what has happened in the past. Nice to get the Bream kid and the South Carolina recruit has some impressive numbers.

great to see the early signings. Keep an eye on PJ Jiminez. What he lacks in size he makes up in baseball IQ. He will be in the hunt for a middle infield spot and has all the intangibles to be a real play maker. Very much a hit for average guy and has gap power. Comes from one of the premier HS programs in SoCal.
I think the real question to this signing is ... How did the coaches discover the tallent in the Arizona desert?
Cudos to Liberty coaches for some early recruiting success out west

Since Toman came from USC, I'm even more surprised that we only landed one player from South Carolina, because we know that most of the Christian baseball players from that state aren't going to BJU for athletics.

If you're talking adding to the class already signed...I would tend to agree with you. There is still the spring signing date, as well.

I bet larrymack is onto something. Toman has surprised many of us Gamecocks in the past with talented last minute transfers. As for SC talent, he recruited the Long player while he was here at USC. Great catch for the coach. This guy is a definate 5 tool player! If I am correct, Toman only had around 4 months to put this class togther. Didn't he take job on July 1? Imagine what he is going to put togther when he has the full time allowed- watch out...

you have to have them to play them..............just keep your eyes open. no telling what might happen next! is there a dugout club or home plate club that we need to join? i don't want to be one of the late-joining members. if not..let's get it rolling now. i'm in south carolina , but i'll help get it rolling. i have seen some really good things happen on the field over the last 10 years. it can be a lot of fun and real exciting when a lot of people get involved. boy, what a great sport.......ideal for family, ecciting, and just good clean fun!!!! LET'S REALLY GET BEHIND THESE KIDS AND SHOW THEM UNBELIEVABLE SUPPORT.

ANYBODY ELSE GOING TO FLORIDA??????????

IT WON'T BE LONG.....................PLAY BALL

Throws upper 80s...filthy from the left side. A pretty decent bat, too.
