And exactly how have you come to know this information?

His information is accurate and great news.
We should have several other name brand programs on the schedule when it is formally released as well.

I don't doubt his sources at all.

Uh, it's on the athletic site. Coach Toman said it himself. The Flames Minute is worth checking out occasionally.

toman was hilarious in flames club last week, though some of the old timers might not have liked his humor. the bow tie is classic. he did say his crowing athletic achievement was intercepting coach rocco's brother back in the day when they played fox chapel in the pittsburgh area.

Then they should have link for it on the baseball page.

It's in the Flames Minute thing on there at the top right. It's updated daily.

3 times!--and then Rocco seemed amused that the "highlight of his [Toman's] career" was a high school game.

Perhaps the emergence of an LU Coaching Rat Pack...the current crop of Barber hires seem to really be on the same par professionally (the pedigree, the way the approach their respective sports, professionalism, etc.) and also seem to have a healthy respect for each other.
That's interesting that Toman's and the Roccos' paths cross all these years later as members of the same athletic department.
Seems like some good times ahead the next couple of years for LU athletics and for LU as a whole (can't help but think that some of the professionalism, excitement and drive to attain the next level in the athletics department is having positive affects on other areas within the university also.)

the team will definitely have its hands full with those teams.

i think it would be great if their was more support for athletic teams by other athletic teams. If after Liberty's Conference Championship Season, Rocco encourages all the students to go out to support Basketball the same way they did football, i think that could make a big difference and send a good message to the student body.

I know I see a lot of the other sports teams at other athletic events (when they aren't conflicting of course) I mean the women's basketball team was at teh football game last week (and the volleyball team made it back from VCU in time for the game...I saw them over on teh baptist side while we were coming onfield for halftime) so that is already being done

BJ,
Is that what you were looking at when you knocked down the dry erase board and ran over a player with your stand? It was pretty funny. The wife had to wipe the tears away.

Actually no, THAT was because I misjudged where the stand was relative to the dry erase board. I thought I had more room to turn it around the board than I did. I apologized for it and the board was put back up and LU still kicked their butt.
