It mentioned he is the "volunteer" assistant, does this mean volunteer as in no money being paid???

I didn't know if it was some special term used for some type of assistant or if it was a literal volunteer. Kudos to the kid, welcome aboard.

The NCAA allows three paid coaches and then a volunteer. The volunteer usually has another job likes the grounds crew and gets paid through camps. This is the position Reggie was in for the years he was here. Not bad depending on where you're at, the volunteer at any ACC or SEC schools make anywhere from $25,000 to $40,000 in camps. The volunteer can't recruit either, guys usually stay in the position about two years to make their contacts and everything then head on. Jeremy is an absolutely awesome choice and a great coach. Expect the field to look fantastic too, the field at Young Harris was in top shape.
