Anyone know of any Big South alums tearing up the MLB?

I know that former Mets 3B Ty Wigginton went to UNC Asheville, anyone else out there?

With Coastal and Winthrop being as good as they are, you'd figure that they'd have someone in the pros.

Ryan Speier, a RHP from Radford saw some time in the bigs last year for Colorado. And Ryan Glynn, a RHP from VMI (when they were in the SoCon), pitched in a few games for Oakland last season...Those two, along with Wigginton were the only players I could find from Big South schools that played last year in the majors. Winthrop's only had one player make it to the big leagues (Carl Dale, back in 1999)...Coastal's had a few, but none that are active right now.
