...is being released on Thursday, the first NCAA baseball game. It's an EA Sports game, and it's being released largely because 2k sports bought up the rights to release MLB games (largely because 2K sports are a bunch of homos, and if you don't think that they're homosexual, go see who their cover athlete is). So EA, the makers of the best baseball game, wanted to continue its baseball franchise and bought the rights to NCAA sports.
In any event... there are 19 conferences (or 12, I think 19, though). I wonder if the Big South is one of them... and before the answer is "no," just remember that we are actually a capable conference in Baseball.
And if not, well, you can always create Liberty. Much like I do in NCAA football.

The guys on the Coastal board are reporting that we were left off this year's edition. Next season allegedly they will have all DI conferences.
Yeah, the Big South is certainly legit in baseball thanks in large part to CCU & WU.

Well, with all due respect, it was EA Sports's fault. They released "Madden 2005" and NBA Live 2005, and 2K released "NFL 2K5" and "NBA 2K5" two years ago. Some considered the 2K versions to be superior, and added by the fact that they cost $20, dealt a real threatening blow to EA's dominance.
Well, EA decided strangle the marketplace by buying exclusive rights to the NFL, NBA, NCAA and ESPN. 2K did the same, but with MLB. The only thing is... I don't particularly give a rip about the NFL, NBA, NCAA or ESPN. I care about baseball. And EA Sports' version of baseball was by far superior. I mean, I played an entire 162 game season last summer... and I'm still mad at losing in game 7 of the NLCS to St. Louis, despite having a 6-0 lead in that game. (Blast you, Kris Benson! Blast you!)

That is surprising that they didn't include the Big South especially w/ 4 teams in the top 100 and WU & CCU having great seasons. We need to get the Big SOuth onto the NCAA Football game.

They only put the top 10 or so conferences on the game this year. We'll get on there soone nough.

Yeah, for the most part, they put the best conferences on there...but for some reason, they included the Patriot league and the Mountain West (or was it the WAC?)...there's no reason those two leagues, especially the Patriot, should be in the game before the Big South.

Kind of rushed game but the concept behind it is way to late. An NCAA baseball game is way-overdue. It's fairly addicting, as I've watched my SLD play it for about 10 hours straight on Saturday. (Ok, so I didn't watch all 10-hours but I have no reason to believe he didn't move a beat!)

Let me guess, the Longhorns are invincible in the setup.

2nd place trophies are for 2nd Rate schools to celebrate. They already have 6 National Championship trophies in Austin.
