I saw that LU has signed Amherst LHP Steven Evans. The 6'4" Evans was something like 6-2 this year with a 1.10 ERA and about 83 K in 56 IP (rough stats from memory of reading the article).

My son has played with and against Evans...and Evans is a high character competitor with a good head on his shoulders. I like this signee a lot.

Only 8 decisions? Sounds a little low.

He may have been 8-2. That would be about right. Not sure what the paper said. I think he'll also be pitching for the Lynchburg Legion team this summer.
