I don't post much on the baseball thread but I have been following the team throughout the year and I can say I did not expect us to make it to the final day....i actually forgot all about the tourney til the other day when I was asked to run the board....running the board is almost hell on earth....sooooo boring....anyways...thats not what this is about

great win tonight and it would be nice to win that first game tomorrow, then you never know what could happen....either way, great way to end the year!

I used to run the board for Lynchburg Red Sox games two decades ago with the current Voice of the Fighting Illini Brian Barnhardt calling the action. And I agree that it is excruciatingly boring.

This is a big victory for us. As UNCA showed last year against us, anything can happen on Sundays.

Its a double elimination tourney and we already have one loss earlier this week while CCU is undefeated.

we have to beat coastal twice tomorrow to get to the ncaa's. this is a double elimination tournament. Coastal has yet to lose a game in this tournament but heres to changing that tomorrow. it will be tough to beat them twice.
