Mr. Barber,

When will we be getting lights on the baseball field? Most of the time, people cannot make it to games because they are in the middle of the afternoon. If we were able to have night games, I believe that there would be huge crowds at each game.

We are currently receiving bids to install lights for the baseball field and have had a couple companies come out and look at our stadium. This is something we really want to get done as it will be a huge benefit to our baseball program.

All I can say is Thank God and I hope they install them before next year.

He mentioned that as well, when we spoke.

The goal was to have that done so we could host Legion events, as well as our own camps - esp in seasons OTHER than winter, as to avoid having to send coaches all over the place.

Usually a bid process includes a timeframe to completion as well, so thats a good sign if its already out to bid.

Nothing like a Saturday-night baseball game.
