A Sea Of Red

I didn't have my camera the past two days so I haven't been able to get a picture of this, but they put some type of blue turf behind home plate. It's a strip with Liberty written in white with red outline. The rest of the grass is green. It looks absolutely horrible. Green grass and then just a strip of blue turf.

Whew--you scared me. I thought you were posting a 5 year extension for Royer.

thats worth a drive out to see. it has to appear better then what was previously there.

Check the other thread. It's freaking hideous looking. THE WRONG COLOR BLUE. I'm with SJ on this one.

After looking at the pictures and giving it some rational thought...that collar doesn't work...with the royal blue last year maybe (as has been noted in the other thread about this as well as here) but now that we have navy blue...that just don't jive yo. Maybe they guy had his sunglasses on when he looked at it and told Barber that the color was going to be darker. Quite unfortunate...

Is this LU's versioin of Boise State's blue SMURF TURF??? I guess it works for them--look at the success they've enjoyed.

We were talking about that at the hockey game last night. Just turn the whole field blue.
