Starting next season college baseball roster sizes will increase from 35 to 40 players and 32 players can now receive scholarships compared to 27. The 11.7 scholarship limit that will now be spread across more players won't change. Imo this just benefits the top teams that have found other ways to make those athletic scholarships go farther such as giving more academic or need based scholarships and now NIL money. For us it just means that NIL will play a bigger role. I get a feeling we will probably do better than most baseball teams in CUSA.
