Flames split the first two at their former Big South compatriots with a 4-0 shutout and 5-3 giveaway. Horn was sharp yesterday, though I'm curious to see how long they take to stretch him out fully given his health down the stretch last year. It's great to see another encouraging outing from Moran as well; he has been sharp and getting the ball in the zone.

Unfortunately, hard contact has been hard to come by outside of the Duke game. Castillo roped a ball foul today, but three hits is tough sledding. Tepper v. Riley in the rubber match tomorrow.
