LU released the 2022 baseball schedule. We have 12 games vs Power 5 schools:

After a quick scan of the top 50 I didn’t see any other ASUN members. Our future friends down in Ruston, Louisiana come in at 15.

Has the ASUN always had a split division schedule only or is that a new thing?
Seems a really odd setup to not play the whole conference in regular season. We are certainly in the loaded side of the conference.

Division system was implemented for this school year.

To answer my own question, just looked back at historical standings in the ASUN and a 2 division structure was a product of last year.
New variable is the addition of 3 teams to the league. Still seems senseless to not play all in the conference for competitive balance.
